Wildwood is a new group formed in January, 2000 on the California Central Coast. We perform an upbeat mix of acoustic folk and bluegrass, from ballads to breakdowns. Wildwood is available to entertain at private parties, coffee shops, and saloons. We do tunes ranging from Bob Dylan to modern folk ballads of Townes Van Zandt, Michael Murphy, John Fogerty, Steve Goodman, and Jean Ritchie, traditional bluegrass of Flatt and Scruggs and Jim and Jesse, and progressive bluegrass of Del McCoury, Herb Pederson, Country Gentlemen, and The Seldom Scene.
