Rock N' Blues

Dave's past is impressive, performing and/or recording with such artists
as Ross Valory from Journey, Praire Prince from the Tubes, and Greg
Douglas of the Steve Miller Band, just to name a few.

In 1999, Dave Helwig arrived in San Luis Obispo county from San Jose,
immediately booking coffee shops and other venues to perform
acoustically while he put his band together. Local DJ Jaz McKay loved
Dave's music, and booked him on his radio show. The response was
incredible, and Dave gained a large following, drawing huge crowds
wherever he performed.
